The main match in my opinion today, at least in terms of the main outcome. At the moment, Ostapenko is still in the tournament, but she has not impressed me. She moves around the court with difficulty, often missing her shots. She takes too many risks with her winners, making it easier for her opponent to gain points. Sometimes she seems to be blinded by the sun or distracted by her thoughts, and when her opponent makes a simple winner, she looks as though she has never seen such a shot before. When leading 30:0 or 40:15, she often allows her opponent to break her. There is no stability.
Baptiste Hailey, a 24-year-old American player, is very good at this position because her serve is better than Paolini's and she can hit a lot of balls, which does not suit the Latvian player. Additionally, in the previous round, Baptiste Hailey beat Svitolina, who has been in great form this season, 2:0, so I think she is a much better opponent because she often gives away points.
