Jones has fallen out of rotation recently, having missed 5 games due to a coach's decision. Before that, he was receiving some minutes to showcase his skills, although he is not an impressive player. However, today's conditions are very favorable for him to make an impact, as there are hardly any players left in the defensive line for today's game - T.J McConnell and Nembhard will not be playing. This leaves a gap in the defensive line, where players will have to share playing time. This should give Jones more solid minutes today, as the season nears its end and it's time to give the shooters a rest.
