I don't know why the French are being underestimated in this case, but it's definitely worth trying to bet on his match against Peru. Yes, Brazil currently seems superior considering the forms of both tennis players, but not too long ago there was a match in Monte Carlo where, thanks to some successful moments, the match seemed to lean towards Brazil, even though the Frenchman didn't play poorly. Here in Munich, where the courts don't seem as slow as expected, there is a chance to see an even stronger serve, flat shots, and precise playing near the net, which should once again trouble Brazil, who tends to play further back and look for opportunities to play rallies with opponents, where he feels like a fish in water.

In my opinion, it will be a real three-set battle, but the outcome of the third set will depend on several factors, both psychological and physical, and it could ultimately tip in the Frenchman's favor.

    Joao Fonseca - Ben Shelton

Brazil is a great player on this surface, after 2 assured wins against strong servers from Peru, now it's time to conquer another one. Shelton's serve is one of the best on the ATP, but his game on the ground is significantly weaker. The slow clay and the good form of the Brazilian make me believe in another Fonsecos victory against Peru with a dry 2-0 result.

    Flavio Cobolli - Vit Kopriva

    (Sets -1.5 Flavio Cobolli) @115 8/10
On this slower court, Cobolli looks particularly good, after his assured victory against Peru, I think it's time for revenge against the Czech. Kopriva won both of their previous meetings in 2023, but now the differences in level and ability have changed drastically. The Italian looks very strong, while the Czech struggled to make it to the top 8, his period here will end and I predict a 2-0 win for the impressive Italian.

    (Games +3.5 Vit Kopriva) @-110 8/10
Italian is certainly of a higher level, but the Czech is a great fighter and never gives up easily. Kopriva is experiencing a real rise and is playing career-level tennis, so he can definitely challenge Cibulkova. I think a 3.5 handicap would be satisfactory.

Munich ATP, clay... quarterfinals. A young player from Italy, a member of his country's team, has a great opportunity today to win against a Slovak who has twice defeated Flavio C. (23 years old). The latter's attitude and motivation for such a prestigious tournament are serious, with good performances in the early rounds, so I have no doubt about Peru's chances today.
