Nevėžis ended their season in a somewhat chaotic manner with the dismissal of their coach. The team was already weak and plagued by injuries, and now they have suffered a few painful defeats. Although at home, the club in Kėdainiai looked strong, their opponent was also in excellent form and their new coach is a very young assistant. After five consecutive losses this season, Nevėžis managed to defeat Neptūnas, which I believe is an additional motivation for the seaside club to confidently take on their next opponent once again.
