Hello.
Euroleague. Playoffs. Fener against Žalgiris. We are moving with Žalgiris +6.5 handicap.
Everyone probably saw the game and I won't say much new here. I think corrections will be made and Biberovic Žalgiris won't allow such a big gap. Even at -18 Žalgiris looked good in the second half and almost made a comeback. Plus, we have a lot of reserves - Lo, Sleva, Butkė, and Cisco didn't even play. 3PT didn't work out for Žalgiris, which is one of their main weapons. Today I'm expecting a completely different outcome and overall I believe we will have a 1-1 result when we come back to Kaunas, but for safety we're taking the plus. Good luck.

    The total performance for this player was too low, despite a poor first meeting. I believe we can expect a bounce back game from him, especially considering that this veteran player has won major trophies in his career. He can turn the game around at any moment and lead the team to victory. However, I don't think we should focus too much on the fact that Zalgiris had a tough time in the first meeting, since they could score within seconds. I think minutes will pass quickly, especially considering the fact that Zalgiris struggled in offense during the first meeting.

    The role of substitutes and leaders here is completely different, which is why players like Gossas don't shy away from taking on responsibilities. He played well in the offense, but also scored 6 points. There's a lot of talk after the game that Gossas or Francisco can't rest at the same time. The importance of the game is immense, and they should be solid every minute and again.

    It would be regrettable not to take such a coefficient because the first game, or more precisely the second period, was a complete misunderstanding, which led to losing the game. Excluding the second period, in which Zalgiris only made 1 shot out of 11, they returned to the fight and maintained a decent tension. Essentially, this suggests that the teams were equal and it was only one period that made the difference, which Fene took advantage of and determined the game. If they manage to avoid periods where they lose by 16 points tonight, Zalgiris should be able to fight for the victory.

    Butkevičius is the only basketball player in EuroLeague this season whose 3-point shooting accuracy is over 50%. Arnas has also demonstrated a truly phenomenal accuracy, but in previous games he burnt out, missed two shots, lacked aggression overall. In the second game, there is nowhere to pull or maneuver, Arnas will definitely have to step up and give it his all.

    Šaras trusts in experience, that's exactly the type of player he needs to be in the playoffs - a veteran with a lot of experience. However, in the past he hasn't been successful with 3-pointers, going 0 for 6 in previous attempts. I find it hard to believe that he will not take at least one shot in the next game, although he is still recovering from an injury. I see value in this.

    Gosas plays here, and he plays for a long time. The last H2H on average is usually around 27 minutes against Feneri. He makes a lot of shots, both 3-pointers and 2-pointers. Masiulis has a special trust in him, just like Cisko.
    Someone wrote that Cisko might stop playing because he didn't get MVP, maybe as a joke, but Gosas seems like a more reliable option to me. 11 points isn't a lot, knowing that most of the players on the green team are clichés, so there won't be many points to collect against a good defense.
    Sara has put together a strong line-up, which could mobilize them even more for defense, and the fact that the focus will be on Cisko is a fact. With his experience, Gosas will definitely make his shots, but will we be able to control it?

    From the last 5 games, there were even 4 overinos with such a total, and only 1 point was missing for it to be 5/5.

    Hello. Euroleague. Playoffs. Oly against Monaco. We're going with Diallo over 11.5 points. Mikey won't be able to handle Monaco on his own, so he will need some help. Oly's defenders are not bad at defense, and under the basket there's Milutinov and Fall, who won't make it easy for the centers. The weakest spots seem to be on the edges (especially when they are more focused on offense). So realistically, we need to choose between Diallo and Blossomgame. Blossomgame is more limited in offense, so let's try Diallo. In the first match he scored 15 points (1 out of 5 from 3PT and 5 out of 9 2-pointers). He gets a lot of shots, and will also have opportunities. He plays a lot of minutes (27+ minutes in the first match) and doesn't really have any competition on Monaco, so he will have to be on the court. The handicap is not high for a player like him, so let's give it a try. Good luck.

    Strazeli performed very poorly in the first game. He made 0 out of 9 shots. Although some players on the Monaco team have recovered from injuries, their rotation is still limited, and some players are simply not performing at the same level against Oly. Strazeli is one of the main players and gets a lot of playing time. It is quite easy for him to score such a low total.

    Of course, on paper PAO is stronger, but Valencia's team should not be written off completely. At home, they are capable of taking one game, and I also believe they can do well away since I expect all five games to be close theoretically. PAO did well against Valencia, but I think they will find their fast game tomorrow and won't miss so many long shots like in the previous game that was an important focus in that match, making it hard to believe they will continue to struggle. It is possible that in the first half there will be a lead of almost 10 points and then PAO will try to make a comeback.

    Euroleague. Playoffs. Valencia against Pao. Let's go with Taylor over 10.5 points.
    Taylor plays a lot of minutes and makes a lot of shots. After Montero, this is probably the second most important game for Valencia. In the first match, the team didn't perform well. The same Taylor only made 1 out of 4 3-pointers (season average 40 percent) and 4 out of 8 2-pointers (season average 60.4 percent). Plus, he didn't make a single free throw (while on average he makes over 2 per game). Montero alone won't be enough, so we will need Badio, Reuvers, and Taylor to have a better game. In the poor first match, he also had 11 turnovers, so today I expect an even bigger contribution and a Valencia win. Good luck.

    Osman is a high-level player. He should have even better statistics on another team. In Pao, it's clear there is no shortage of stars, but Osman is still one of the main weapons for Ataman. The Turk throws a lot of 3-pointers and hits them well. But he also has other weapons on offense. He is one of the best players at driving to the basket and is often difficult to stop.

Unfortunately, they were unable to do so in the first game due to a tragic 3-point shooting performance (6/33). The total score has decreased and it is a total that would have been difficult to achieve in the regular season. PAO also has their weapons in offense, but Valencia is superior in this aspect and if they can improve their shooting, their playing style should also become more typical. It is one of the better home teams, but if they suffer a defeat, they should also consider changing the series.
