De Jong is a fairly good tennis player who consistently plays in the ATP tour, when his opponent had an injury and could only win this qualification on clay court this year. The American is a very weak sand tennis player, and lacking in both form and playing practice, he must feel out of his element. Although the Dutchman is not a super player, his skill is significantly higher and considering the current situation, the Dutchman is likely to win.
