Both teams competed in the first round against Peru. The Australians surprised by defeating the Turks, but the Turks themselves played very poorly. As a rule, when there are high expectations for the Turks, they tend to disappoint. The USA aggressively attacked Paraguay and won 4:1. Their strength lies in their strong offense and of course, playing at home. These national teams have very different styles. It is difficult for the Australians to create a game, they play cautiously and often fall from standard positions. I have no doubt that they will use this tactic if they hope for a good result.
However, the USA is more talented and playing at home should defeat the Australians. I am going with the under, I do not expect a high-scoring game, I think it will be 1:0 or 2:0, or even 2:1 in favor of the home team.
