This should be relatively easy. The Norwegians have an elite level attack with Haaland, Sorloth, and Odegaard leading the way from the start of the qualifying cycle, leaving their mark and not being stopped. In their last 20 matches, Norway has scored at least one goal in 19 of them, and even in their 4 losses to Iraq in the first World Cup, they created a good amount of chances against the highly-ranked French team. Furthermore, in their last match against Senegal, although they lost 1-0, their attack showed promising potential. Moreover, their defense, despite facing weaker teams such as Estonia, Moldova, Israel, and even Iraq in the first match, has been able to keep a clean sheet against some of the better African teams.

Senegal looked very good against France and caused serious problems for them in the attack. Both teams like to play an attacking and fast-paced game, so in their match against each other, we can expect goals.

In the first round, Norway defeated Iraq 4:1 and showed that they have no problems in the attack. With Haaland in the lead, they can score against anyone. Senegal lost 1:3 to France, but they were also able to score and create dangerous moments.

Both teams have something to play for in this match, so I don't expect a closed-off game. Norway appears to be more dangerous in the attack, but Senegal has enough quality to score at least one goal. Set pieces such as corners and side kicks are one of Haaland's strengths due to his height and physical strength. Senegal does not have a strong enough defender to match with Haaland. Senegal's defenders often go for challenges and play aggressively, which can leave spaces behind them where Haaland is especially dangerous when running into free spaces. After losing the first game, I doubt if Senegal will play defensively. A draw won't satisfy them, so the game should be more open. If Norway were to receive a penalty kick, Haaland would certainly be the first choice taker, although he doesn't take them very often. Senegal's full backs are perhaps the weakest part of their team. On the other hand, Norway has strong full backs and good delivery into the penalty area, where Haaland reigns. In 8 qualifying matches, Haaland has scored 16 goals. In the first match, he was in great form. Almost every Norwegian attack ends with Haaland taking a shot or at least touching the ball. With so many opportunities, it only takes one good moment for him to make an impact. Senegal's coach himself mentioned that the team has weaknesses in defense. Today, Haaland has a great opportunity to shine.
