With the Kurtinaitis-led Lithuanian national team, the style of play is very clear and does not change over the years. It is a fast-paced, free-flowing basketball, and with the team assembled this summer, playing this type of basketball should be even easier. There is a lot of talent and most players enjoy or are accustomed to playing this way. The defense may have changed slightly, but the offensive potential with the current lineup is very high. Since there has not been much time for preparation, there should not be any major savings before official games today. The difference in skill level is not significant, and there is motivation and support on Lithuania's side. Ukraine may hold on in defensive games, but I do not see them having a chance against a fast-paced game.
