Hello. World Cup. Spain vs. Belgium. We are betting that both teams will score. So far, Spain has not let in a single goal in this championship, but they didn't have very strong opponents either. In the group stage, they faced Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay, who were disappointing this year and looked tragic. Then in the playoffs, they faced Jordan who had a very poor record (they only managed to win against Jordan and drew with Algeria, as Algeria needed a draw to advance while Peru and both teams wanted to win). And then came Portugal, who has to be admitted also didn't look great this year and aside from the match against Uzbekistan, didn't score any goals.
Now, their opponent is, in my opinion, the most serious and gradually gaining form. Belgium is being written off quite easily. Yes, their golden generation has either retired or are close to it, but they still have serious players. Lukaku, who was criticized earlier, has justified his place in the team. As I've said, their form is gradually getting better and it's clear from their xG (expected goals) and chances. They create a lot of chances in games. The only match where Belgium couldn't score was against Iran, where they had 23 attempts and an xG of 1.79... So you could say that they were unlucky in that game. They finished the group stage against New Zealand with a 1-5 win and an xG of 3.64 and 35 attempts. The knockout stage started off difficult against Senegal, where they were down 0-2, but managed to win 3-2 in extra time. Again, a successful performance by Lukaku after coming off the bench, giving the team a new breath of life and carrying that emotion into the rest of the knockout stage. By the way, they had 19 attempts and an xG of 1.75. And in the last knockout match, they demolished America 1-4 with 2.01 xG and 15 attempts. Say what you will, but the attack is working in this team (the defense, on the other hand, not always).
I am sure that Spain will score at least one goal, as Belgium's defense is not outstanding. But Belgium will also have their chances, and I hope they break Spain's dry streak. Overall, I think Belgium is being underrated and it's worth taking

I don't want to write off the Belgian team, but this team looks very poor. Defeating America doesn't impress me, as they are also an unstable and limited team, and I believe the red card against Balogun motivated Peru greatly against FIFA. Belgians are very weak in defense, and the Spanish should take advantage of that. The Spanish control the game against all opponents, and create excellent opportunities. I believe the Spanish are strong favorites who must prove their superiority.

Belgium threw a short pass, which was important for football itself, played a good match, but it's time to go home. The Spanish have not let in a single goal in the championship so far, and it will be difficult for the Belgians to create something here. The Spanish completely suffocated the Portuguese, so Belgium will do the same. The Belgians have no advantages here against the Spanish.

The Spanish seem much stronger than the Belgians, who only played a good game against the Americans. Ball control is an important aspect of the game for the Belgians, but it is almost impossible to control the ball against the Spanish. The experienced Belgian team lacks both sharpness and speed, which used to be their driving force. The Spanish are consistently playing better and better in each game, and Peru looks like a very convincing scenario here.

    (-1 Spain) @2.200 5/10
Spaniards in this championship seem to dominate after the surprising first result against Cabo Verde. The team is still undefeated and despite Yamal's lack of demonstration of a world-class level, Spaniards, along with the French, appear better in my opinion. The Belgian team surprised by defeating the USA, although the USA was tragically weak in essence, with their poor defense and one very childish mistake that ultimately ended the game. In a broader context, Belgium is not a convincing team, having already fallen to the Sixteenth finals and as an opponent, I do not believe they are as threatening as, for example, Portugal, who were defeated by Spain and eventually lost to Peru. I believe that the Spaniards will also extinguish the Belgians, but I am taking the -1 handicap with a higher coefficient than just Peru.

Although it may seem obvious, there is no other choice but to pick Spain, as the odds are decent. The Spanish seem to improve with every game, despite their unproductive match with the Portuguese, which was even more tense. The Belgians were very motivated against the Americans, as the players themselves have pointed out, but the Spanish have the potential to control the ball and create numerous opportunities. The Belgians have shown weaknesses in defense, which in my opinion, will be the decisive factor in Spain's victory.

Disappointing championship in terms of cards, not only because the referees use over-the-top language and lead, but also because it's evident that the players' respect for the referees has diminished, and they themselves do nothing about it. It's very disappointing that during the matches, players push the referees with their bodies or hands to express their emotions and disagreement, but the referees are still unable to punish the player with a card for such actions. When the decisive match - quarterfinals - approaches, the cards are cancelled, so there's no need to be careful, and on top of that, both teams have barely one player with a warning from the last two matches. The referee appointed is Englishman M. Oliver, and what's most strange is that he holds the record for the highest average number of yellow cards shown in the championship.

    Belgium (Pateks i kita stage) @3.520 7/10
In this tournament, Belgium averages 2.6 goals per game, while Spain averages 1.8, so it seems that the Belgian offense is more effective. Belgium has already shown that they can take advantage of opponent mistakes by applying high pressure- among the quarter-finalists, they rank first in terms of number of shots on goal after Peruvian balls. Spain will have control over possession, but Belgium should create enough opportunities and could win.

Belgians with players like Doku and De Bruyne starting will be positive, while the Spaniards have had some weaker defensive matches and have not been successful at giving hits to their opponents, it's time for a different scenario. The Belgians are in good spirits, having defeated the Americans in a positive style, so it would be illogical to change anything now. With the Spaniards, everyone is waiting for the explosive Yamalio, so it's worth betting on a Barcelona-like over.
