I think that Peru is strong for this stage in Argentina. Argentina's game looks worse and worse as it goes on and if it wasn't for the red card from the Swiss, I think they would have already gone home. The knockout stages began against the Green Comb, and Argentina didn't look impressive, but they managed to just barely pull through in extra time. Against Egypt, they were losing 2-0 and just barely managed to pull through again. The game against Switzerland was bad, but they were able to pull through once again. Their opponents so far have been low-level teams like Ghana, and they have now reached the semi-finals without facing a very tough opponent, but now they are facing the English. It's uncertain how lively Messi's feet are, he didn't score against the Swiss. The English are a much better team than the ones Argentina struggled against before, so these odds look very attractive.
