Middleweight. This will be Usman's second fight in this division, his last one was against Chimaev and he looked pretty good, although it was Chimaev's first fight in this weight class and the sizes were similar. Chimaev himself stated that he was fighting with an illness and it affected his performance. There shouldn't be as much of a threat in terms of wrestling, it won't be the same as fighting against Chimaev whose strategy was to demolish and control.
Du Plessis is a big middleweight. He says he watches their fight with Chimaev at least once a week to remember what he went through. It won't happen again, his camp is focused on takedown defense and escaping from those positions. In standing, Kumaru will have a lot of trouble with both kicks and unorthodox strikes. I think the fight will last about 4.5 rounds and Du Plessis will finish it around that time.
