The new season of the Austrian league is just as intense as the Sturm Graz team fighting for the title. After 2 consecutive wins, Ana's team lost 2 points in the league and started this season very well. We have been preparing for the European Cup, particularly impressive results against the Scottish Hearts, who we beat 6-0 overall and dominated them in the middle of the week away where it is not easy to play. The season opens with a match against Tirol, who finished in the top 3 last season and will most likely be fighting once again to avoid relegation. They had a poor start to the season, not including the 16-1 win against a lower league team, but then suffered 3 losses to teams like Hertha, Polissya Zhytomir, and Qarabag, as well as a draw with Gornik. Their preparation has not been convincing at all and without home advantage, they have no handicap. If European football does not prove to be too much of a distraction, I believe Sturm will take all 3 points and comfortably continue their good form.
