Last season, Famalicao was one of the better teams in the Portuguese league (excluding, of course, Sporting, Benfica, Porto, and Braga). This season, they seem to be doing very well. In a very serious Como Cup tournament, Famalicao competed against Crystal Palace, Lens, and Como and only lost to the latter, who, of course, played at home. Estoril is just an average team that looked very weak in friendly matches, and their opponents were of a very low level. Famalicao, currently in 5th place and only 3 points behind Braga, should be even better this season, which will be helped by their upcoming opponents, against whom they currently have a 4-game winning streak. Confident in themselves and having significantly improved, Famalicao is a stronger team compared to the others, and when looking at their past matches, everything points to them starting the league championship this season with a victory.
