The vice-champions of the league won all of the played friendly matches, and they were against some quite decent teams, such as Atalanta and Rayo. The mid-table team Sparta did not win the last 4 friendly matches, and although friendly matches remain friendly, Feyenoord team seems much better than before. In the last season, in the early stages (4th round), Feyenoord team even crushed Sparta team with a score of 4-0, so this season, it is worth expecting a tough challenge from the Dutch giant.
