Jodar is playing very well and a couple of weeks ago proved his advantage against French player in the 2-0 Washington tournament on hard court. Although Fils won 2-1 on clay in April, on the Canadian tournament court the clear favorite is the Spaniard. Fils got very favorable opponents in this tournament and Jodar has already beaten some strong names and is playing well in his second tournament in America on hard court. In this form, the Spaniard is playing excellently and doesn't seem like an easy opponent for Fils.
