Friendly Competition. While the Peru National League is taking place (both teams have won one game each after three rounds), the teams are playing a series of friendly matches. Last week, Japan narrowly beat Peru 35-32, but today Australia is playing at home and it's a completely different story. In general, this has been one of the weaker seasons for both teams, so motivated efforts, even in a friendly game at home, carry weight.
