I'm taking the young Slovak Pohánková, who looks very solid in this tournament so far. She has not lost a single set until the semifinals: 6:1 6:1 against Sinja Kraus, 6:4 6:1 against Matilde Jorge, and 7:6 6:4 against Kayla Cross/Collins. Her victory against Kraus was especially impressive, as Pohánková was a 2.37 underdog before the match.
Pohánková is only 17 years old, but her progress this year has been very noticeable - with a record of 18-10 in 2026 and a current WTA ranking of #233, she is already approaching the top 210.
Knutson is much more experienced and has a higher ranking (#163), so I don't expect an easy match. She has also been playing well in this tournament, but in the quarterfinals she had a three-set battle with Rapola, winning 6:2 1:6 6:4, while Pohánková closed out her match in just two sets. Knutson's overall record this year is 18-17.
In my opinion, Pohánková has the current form and momentum on her side, and the odds of ~1.77 seem reasonable for the risk to take her as a bet.
