Praisideda Lietuvos futbolo A lyga, pasirodė pirmeiji koeficentai. Pirmajame ture Panevėžyje susitinka Kruoja ir Tauras. Pairuošime Kruoja demonstravo kur kas geresnius rezultatus, priešingai nei Tauras. Tarpsezoniu Kruoja pasipildė puikiais žaidėjais tokiais kaip Zelmikas, strockis, dar keliais pajėgiais legionieriais. Tauras irgi nesnaudė, naujas treneriu štabas, vyr. tren. Rezultatai draugiškose tikrai nežibėjo, paskutinėse net 3-0 pralaimėta Atlantui kuris net pasirengimo sezonui normalaus neturėjo. Treneriai Italai lietuvoje kolkas dar ne vienas istvirtino, buvo ju suduvoje, siauliuose, visi sekmingai isvyko namo. Manau toks pat ir sio italo likimas, gandai tikrai apie tauro pasiruposima ne patys geriausi. Kruoja issaugoje sudeti, pasipilde gan solidziau, ir rezultatai draugiskose kur kas solidesni, renkuos ju pergale.

    Although Lithuania's champions have problems with fans and the game, recently the game and results have improved. Zalgiris started scoring goals and the last 2 meetings were productive with 2 goals from the Vilnius side. Now the home match against one of the weakest league teams Dainava, who concede an average of 2 goals per A league match (24 matches, 48 goals conceded). In their last match, Dainava did not concede any goals against Hegelmann, although they had been conceding 2 or more goals in their last 5 matches against Alytus club. I think Zalgiris should score goals at home against Alytus club, as is common in the A league.

    It will not be easy for the league leaders today, as they face Siauliai who are fighting for a place in Europe and have been playing effectively with 3 forwards this season. I believe Siauliai will rely heavily on their bank of BTS (Behind the Scenes) as it is difficult to expect Zalgiris to not concede at least once, especially considering that this happens VERY rarely and Siauliai is not known for their strong defense. I think Siauliai themselves have a strong offense, as KZ (Kaunas) have recently been conceding more often and have not kept a clean sheet for quite some time. Siauliai also play very effectively at home, with 25 goals scored in 11 games and only once ending in a draw this season.
