Apollon sezoną pradėjo tragiškai, bet pakeitūs trenerį, ir atėjus žymiai specialistui Nikki vaizdas pasikeitė, ir komanda pradėjo žaisti puikiai, turima 5 pergalės iš eilės, ir nors varžovai ir nebuv patys rimčiausi, bet pats žaidimas tikrai nuteikia puikiai, treneris puikiai nuteikia žaidėjus, ir jie atiduoda viską aikštėje, ką rodo ir rezultatai. Omonia tuo tarpu finansinėje krizėje nebėra tiek pinigų kiek būdavo anksčiau, kad būti favoritais, todėl ir žaidimas prastas, namie dar pasikapojama, bet ir tai prieš silpnesnes komandas, o va kai ateina rimti varžovai , tai ir namei nelaimima, o išvykose iš viso graudus vaizdas, 4 mačai nei vienos pergalės, net ir su tokiais varžovais kaip Doxa ar Achna nelaimima, žaidėjų nuotaikos prastos, ir čia man tik namų win.
