EPL: Arsenal vs Manchester United Betting Preview

Arsenal host Manchester United in a crucial match in the battle top 4 at the Emirates!

These clubs are currently separated by one point in 4th and 5th places with Man Utd currently holding a one point edge over Arsenal in the table in the Top 4 race which makes this game absolutely crucial for both sides.

Arsenal are coming off a very frustrating 3-1 loss to Rennes in Europa League and are seeking to grab a bounce back win. Their league form has been pretty decent lately as they’ve picked up 10 pts from the past 4 games and had a good performance away to Spurs where they grabbed a point and potentially could’ve grabbed more.

Man Utd are on an absolute high at this moment in this, they are coming off their biggest win of the season as they overcame a 2-0 deficit and beat PSG 1-3 in Paris to reach the next round of UCL. Man Utd’s form is exceptional right now and it seems nothing can go wrong under Ole even with all the injuries that they’ve been dealing with.

Arsenal do have one of the best home record in the Premier League and despite their tragic away form this season, they do have the tied 2nd best home record in the league with Liverpool and ever since their opening day loss to Man City their home record is 12W 2D 0L which is absolutely exceptional and being back in front of their own fans against United, they have a good chance at a bounce back.

Man Utd are currently on a ridiculous run on their travels having won 9 straight games on their travels which is a club record. They still have a 100% win ratio under Solskjaer away from home and they have shown they can win at tough grounds such as Spurs, Chelsea, PSG and even Arsenal who they beat in the FA Cup already this season at the Emirates. United’s away form is beyond sensational right now.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette are the key players for Arsenal. Both are in double digits in goals scored for the club this season and both will need to show up for Arsenal for a shot at a win, they may not start together but whichever one is one pitch they will be the biggest danger man for Arsenal.

Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku are the men to watch for United. Pogba as we all know has been playing his best football ever for Man Utd under Ole while Lukaku is currently showing exceptional form having scored 6 goals in his last 3 apps (3 braces in a row). These two put on top performances at the Emirates in the Cup and should cause Arsenal’s defence problems again.

Arsenal and Man Utd tend to have high scoring match ups in recent memory as their last 8 meetings have seen total 27 goals.

Man Utd and Arsenal faced off twice this season. The league meeting ended 2-2 back when Mourinho was in charge of United, but then in the FA Cup Man Utd defeated Arsenal at the Emirates 1-3 thoroughly outclassing them in the game. Arsenal will seek for a revenge against Man Utd this time.

Man Utd have won back to back games at the Emirates by the same score of 1-3.

Arsenal are tipped as slight bookies favourites to win this game at 2.42 while Man Utd are the underdogs offered at 3.00. Draw is offered at 3.60. Odds based on Unibet.

Team News

Arsenal: Alex Lacazette is back from suspension he had in the Europa League while Alex Torreira is suspended after being sent off last week. Hector Bellerin continues to be out with the season ending injury.

Manchester United: Anthony Martial is available to return while Pogba is available after missing the PSG clash with suspension. Matic, Herrera and Bailly are all questionable so we’ll have to wait and see if they’re available when the line-ups come out.
