Betfair

Background

The Betfair experience before 2011 was all about betting exchange and these guys made sure punters were linked to the punters most suited to their needs and budget whilst they charged a commission for the same service. Then they realized that although their revolutionary idea had opened up new markets that nobody had looked into before, they were also missing out on 30 percent of their 2 million clientele who were using bookmakers for the fixed odds offered on their sites. And so the Betfair sportsbook was born and now the folks there have taken on the added mantle of bookmaker. Their online trading venture is licensed and regulated by the Lotteries and Gaming Authorities, Malta and this fast growing bookie is grabbing customers and more revenues with every passing week.

Sports Betting Coverage

The markets engaged at Betfair are very diverse but it must be pointed out that their betting exchange has more such offers available in exotic fixed odds. They engage most sporting events like basketball, football, cricket, hockey, old, cycling, athletics, mixed martial arts, motor sports, greyhounds, snooker, boxing and Gaelic games. They engage these sports in most formats and in novelty markets, punters can expect to find bets on politics, financials and special bets (Ex: BBC Spoty winner). In terms of day to day lines, the folks at Betfair sure know how to update their customers on every sporting event that is currently making the waves, even modestly if it be. Any sports better is sure to not be disappointed by the exposure provided by the spanking new bookmaker. And the mobile platform developed by Betfair is actually rumored to be the fastest streaming platform with great offers on hold there.

Sports Betting Types

Openbet technologies tied up with Betfair for its new endeavor in establishing contact with punters as a bookmaker and they’ve done a damn good job of it. The graphics are slick, the interface is easy to navigate across and the streaming is clean and fast. In fact their live video streams are of the best quality available in the betting industry. The types of betting engaged at Betfair are fairly exhaustive and their in-play betting is quite popular among punters despite the fact that they’re new to the bookie scene. Their multiple bet selection involves doubles, trebles, four-folds, trixies, accumulators, Lucky 7, Goliath, patents, yankees, Canadians and so much more. In Goliath itself, players are allowed a maximum of 247 bets which is an insane full-cover multiple on offer and punters can hope to find more creative selections here. Their cash out feature is also a cool feature which basically allows punters to lock in bets any moment before the result is due and the offer is therefore made in real time. Any better knows that is really good news. They also feature both fractional and decimal odds to choose from.

Payment Options

The Betfair security is topnotch and their systems have been accredited with ISO 27001 certification. Setting up an account is simple and they offer several payment options. They accept 10 currencies which include all forms of the dollar, the krone, euro and the sterling among others. They allow punters to make use of debit and credit cards, bank wire transfers, cheques, e-wallets and money orders. The method of withdrawal is simple and the channel used for depositing funds is used to withdraw funds. Some form of identification is require to validate the processing of the payout but customers have nothing to worry about this bookie on that account. They are known for their squeaky clean reputation and processing charges are only on account of the third party the punters have used to fund their account.

Customer Services

The Betfair website does have a learning curve attached to it so punters can gain a great deal of insight by looking up their help center which is a comprehensive repository of questions related to engaging the sports book in the best possible manner. This includes tips and helpful guidelines in the very betting standard and this is good news for the uninitiated. They also have a dedicated support staff that is primed to service any specific queries of their customers. They can be reached via five different avenues and this involves their UK help-desk, email, telephone and post.

Verdict

The Betfair wagon is taking off and in no mean measure. Punters are well aware of the prowess of this well oiled machine and the future looks bright for this fast growing bookmaker in the UK. For anyone looking for the low juice and great lines they should know better than to give this bookie a miss.

Žalgiris and Rytas Peru enter a sadder LKL stage, with only 10 games left and practically impossible to fall or rise. The Wolves are fighting against the LKL elite, especially when they themselves are about to be pushed out of the top4, so I don't see a devastating defeat happening here.

FC Porto - Famalicao

(FC Porto) @-217 8/10
It is strange to see how Porto has such a high coefficient at home against average teams in the Portuguese league. Porto has already been knocked out of Europe by Peru, and although they have not had much success against other top teams like Benfica or Braga, they have performed well against other teams, especially at home. Famalicao is a good team in good form, but at the Dragao stadium, Porto is excellent and should come out with a win.

Over (Edwards Carsen 4.5 3PT) @525 4/10
Bayern's most important game of the season and someone like Edwards will take it upon himself even more. A player who has tremendous freedom, recently made 18 3-pointers against Maccabi... Against Real this season, he already made 20 3-pointers. Today, he will once again make more 3-pointers than 2-pointers, while Real has Tavares. I believe in him for 15-20 years.

He has achieved so much this season, and I think the odds are definitely too high.

Over (Gabriel Deck 10.5 points , Assists , Rebounds) @-125 8/10
After the injury, Deck looks and plays better, he is very important for Real and they saw before against Paris that he is heavily involved in the game. He is a great back player who can make excellent passes or score points himself. Today, I think he will get a lot of minutes and he can do a lot on the court.

Zverev - Griekspoor

Griekspoor @265 7/10
Greek has already beaten Zverev on hard court this year, so it won't be anything new. The weather in Munich is bad today, so it should be even more challenging for Zverev. In this tournament, Zverev generally has very poor results, indicating that the speed and specific conditions of the tournament are not in his favor. Greek, on the other hand, is inconsistent, but often relaxes against weaker opponents and plays his best game against top ten players.

Real does not convince completely, before Paris team's collapse. The last chance to make it to the playoffs and anything can happen from one game, especially considering how strong Bayern can be. They are not complete outsiders to be written off like that. I believe the fight will go until the end, and the winner will be determined by just small details.

Bayern @375 6/10
Once again, they give a cosmic coefficient against Real and we have to try to use it. Real is not convincing at all, the team looked like it was collapsing before Paris. This is their last chance to qualify for the playoffs and from one game anything can happen, especially knowing how unpredictable Bayern can be. They are not complete outsiders to be written off like that. I think the fight will go until the end and it will all come down to details.

Over (Edwards Carsen 2.5 3PT) @-116 8/10
Bayern's most important match this season and someone like Edwards will take it upon himself even more. A player who has enormous freedom, not long ago he threw out 18 3-pointers against Maccabi...This season against Real, he threw out 20 3-pointers. Today, I hope he once again throws out over 3-pointers, unlike 2-pointers, when Real has Tavares. In 15-20 years, I believe in him today.

The most important matches for Bayern this season and someone like Edwards will take even more responsibility. A player who has huge freedom, not long ago he made 18 3PTs against Maccabi... Against Real this season he made 20 3PTs. Today he will once again make over 3PTs, as opposed to twos, when Real has Tavares. I believe in him in the next 15-20 minutes.

It doesn't seem like the most favorable opponent for Cremona Milano club, as their head-to-head record is very strong and they often fight until the last minute. Cremona is in decent form, having beaten tough opponents like Sassari and Trento only in the last minutes of the game. Scoring has improved, but it is not particularly impressive for the away team. Cremona is known for their defense, and it can be expected in this game as well. However, facing Milan and their talented offense could be a difficult challenge. Milan is still not a consistent team, and that should be taken advantage of.

(+14.5 Vanoli Cremona) @-125 8/10
The opponent Cremona is not showing itself to be the most favorable for the Milano club, as their head-to-head record heavily favors the home team and they often fought until the last minute. Cremona is in decent form, having defeated strong opponents in recent periods, and only losing to Sassari and Trento in the last minutes. Their scoring has increased, but it is not particularly threatening for the home team. Cremona likes to defend, and in this game one can expect a slightly different style of basketball, especially against Milan, who have a lot of talent on their offense, making it difficult for Cremona to keep up. Milan is still not a stable team and this should be taken advantage of.

Real performed very poorly in Paris, now the final has arrived and they will have to draw conclusions. However, their conclusions often lead to high tempo. Bayern, without any hesitation, launched many first attacks, so I am looking forward to a beautiful spectacle.

(Mario Hezonja Over 14.5 Points) @-111 1/10
I can't imagine how Real can fight against such a strong opponent like Bayern without a greater contribution from Hezonja. They didn't have much success in 3PT against Paris, but in general Real didn't seem like themselves. The opponent is once again focused on offense, shooting and allowing a lot of 3PT. Bayern's defense against attackers is not shining, especially in recent times.

(Games +5 Alex De Minaur) @-143 8/10
In recent tournaments, Australas has been performing very well and poses a challenge to everyone, confidently defeating strong opponents. Alcaraz is currently struggling and although he managed to win in Montecarlo, losing 3 sets is a clear sign that he is not in his best form. De Minaur is one of the most serious opponents today, confident and very fast, I believe the Australian will be able to put up a strong fight against the Spaniard.

(+1.5 David Goffin) @147 8/10
Goffin is an experienced old wolf who knows how to play and provoke mistakes perfectly. Cerundolo is a guarantee of instability and although Argentina is capable of playing unbelievably well, the Belgian's calmness and goodness are surprising. Goffin has already won a set in 4 consecutive tournaments, so I believe we can expect a great series from him. The Belgian even shocked Alcaraz and although he is strong on hard courts, he is also good on clay. Cerundolo has not yet faced a serious opponent, so we will see how he handles it, but I think he will win the first set.

(Stefanos Tsitsipas) @110 10/10
At this tournament, Tsitsipas demonstrates confidence as he easily overcomes Opelka and handles Korda quite easily, showing that the Greek has regained his form since he also performed well in Monte Carlo. The Frenchman Fils is a good tennis player, but he still needs to improve for such competitions because the young player is unable to finish the job. Peru has a lot of potential and good form, which is why it is considered a favorite, but I think they should be punished today.
