You must bet on what you know. It is hard enough working out who will win a football match without complicating things still further by betting on an event when you know nothing about the teams or the league. So be sure that you good know team on which you bet.

There is many people who taking advice and "secret information", my advice is to never pay for advice! If people are making money on their advice then they should be able to give it away for FREE.

A 50/1 shot is a long shot for a reason. If the bookies are prepared to give you £50 for every £1 you wager, then this horse, golfer or football team is probably not going to win during your lifetime. So choose realistic coefficients.

Yes, all gambling should be just for fun and good time, but not for making money. If you win it's ok, if you lose it's also ok, don't try to win back your money.

Hello all, one popular method looks at recent form rather than season long form. The idea is that a team that's been winning recently builds confidence and perhaps has also recovered from injury woes ... while a losing side lacks the fight required to get a result. This is somewhat true - but other patterns emerge - especially from mid-table sides who by definition are a bit inconsistent. So if a average side is on a good or bad run then it is no surprise (to me at least) to see them suddenly turn it around.

I don't think so, if you can win in long term you can make money from betting.

Good advice, I always watch stronger teams. If form at last 10 or 15 games is much better I place a bet.
