Andrew Giuliani, 22, is best known as the son of former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani.

But he's about to be known for much, much more.

According to various reports, Giuliani - a Duke University student and golf team member - is suing the school on the premise that his golf coach make false accusations about him to justify his dismissal from the team.

The coach - O.D. Vincent III - said Giuliani "flipped his putter a few feet to his golf bag" and drove fast while leaving a golf course parking lot, according to the lawsuit. Giuliani also was accused of playing a team football game harder than the other players liked and of being disrespectful to a trainer.

Wow.

In the grand scheme of golf, this story isn't much considering Giuliana was a fringe player on the team whose best performance was a tie for 36th at the Fighting Illini Invitational. But still, it's golf news…which means we can talk about golf betting! Visit the Bodog Sportsbook today for all your golf props and futures!

James McDermott - a democratic congressman from the state of Washington, has recently submitted a bill to tax the winnings of online gamblers. The act, entitled "Investing in our Human Resources Act of 2008" is seen as killing two birds with one stone. The first bird comprises an attack on gambling, seen by many as evil and corrupt. The second bird involves estimated tax revenue of $40 billion that would be spent on a series of social and educational programs. The tax money would be earmarked for educational and job-training programs for former foster care individuals as well as programs for those workers trapped in industries seen as outdated or uncompetitive.

This bill is McDermott's second attempt at taxing online gambling. His earlier effort took place in 2007 when he authored the late, lamented Internet Gambling Regulation and Tax Enforcement Act, or IGRTEA. This bill was bandied about by various members of Congress until it was finally rejected as unworkable.

A number of people have placed outrageous bets, gambling their possessions, savings and even families for the sake of making a quick buck. Last year a man from Mthatha challenged a friend to bet against him ahead of an Orlando Pirates versus Kaizer Chiefs derby, with the hope of a Pirates victory.

So confident was the man that he offered his wife, house, car and everything he owned to his friend if his team lost..........

It looks pretty interesting, it is basically like a sub-form of a wiki in combination with yahoo answers, though I think it needs more development as it looks quite disorganized
