According to the report, a legal online poker and casino market would be worth up to $12 billion, too great a benefit for lawmakers to ignore.

(Despite the optimistic outlook, Goldman Sachs added efforts to regulate online gambling federally, could take time, and that efforts would move faster at a state level).

The value of bets in Italy rose 10.8 percent in the first six months of the year to 26.266 billion euros, the state gaming regulator said on Wednesday.

Total wagers in June, including slot machines, scratch cards, sports betting and lotteries, were 4.114 billion euros, according to state monopoly AAMS.

There was a tragic accident on the set of Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour at Velodrome Stadium in Marseille, France on Thursday morning. Apparently, a crane collapsed and fell on top of workers during the installation of the stage for her Sunday concert killing one worker and leaving six injured.

I'm new to the game of Texas Holdem and hope to find a lot of helpful info here that will lead to the development of my game to a profitable end. I am playing in a $15,000 freeroll event at the Horseshoe Casino in Indiana tomorrow, until then I will be reading all the strategy and tips I can find.

Cronkite was known as "the most trusted man in America." He had been suffering for years with cerebrovascular disease and he died at his home in New York City.

Apparently, producers have failed to give Abdul a new contract and Abdul wants more money that the $2.5 million annual salary, which is a drop in the bucket compared to the killer contract they just inked with Ryan Seacrest - $45 million for the next three years.

Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey is currently preparing a bill to bring online casino regulation to the Senate as a companion to Congressman Barney Frank's HR 2267 seeking to legalise online gambling in the United States.
