I heard today on a certain site,, that 5 to 10 years is a realistic time period for regulated poker in the USA,,,because of other more important issues in the goverament,,, my question is, wouldn't taxes from poker help deal with these other issues? Forgive the spelling,,
Take care

Rebels Devil wrote: Always nice to welcome new members to our site. Good Luck! There are a lot of sites out there. A few are Carbon Poker, Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and I could go on and on. Search on Poker Sites and you will find yourself overwhelmed with the number, just check carefully before getting involved.
Welcome: fulltilt for me

Kentucky and online gambling haven't exactly gone well together over the past year. On Friday, The Kentucky State Supreme Court heard oral arguments for a suit by Gov. Steven Beshear's seeking to take control of the Internet domain names.

Not all is bad in Kentucky. :dirol

Of course, online gambling wasn't around 20 years ago. He was feted at this summer's World Series of Poker by supporters of his legislation to legalize online gambling.

The co-founder of PartyGaming, who faces sentencing next year for violating US gambling laws, is to sell his stake in the online gaming company. Anurag Dikshit’s holding company said yesterday it had sold two-thirds of his 27.6 per cent stake to institutional shareholders, taking his holding down to 9.4 per cent. A spokesman for the billionaire, who helped to set up Party-Gaming in 1997, said: “The rest will be sold down when it is appropriate to do so and that will be soon.”................

Let me check my wallet, I may have enough in there to buy those shares.
I wonder how many millions those 9.4% will go for?

Too bad cuz I really like playing for this forum and have a hard time finding something to write about to make a posting. Perhaps if we had a "daily greeting" or something, that would help.
Is that so?

Years ago, when i was a teenager, some friends of mine had a HUGE Old English Sheep Dog named Re Run...gentle as a lamb, but he was HUGE>..anywhoo.. I had an old strobe light, and we took it along with a black light a lit up the front porch. Re Run had his usual spot on the rug near the front door.

A car stops, and 3 little gobblins get out of the car and start hurriedly up towards the porch.....and then.....it happened...

Re Run decided to stand up and greet them....All you could see, was this HUGE HAIRY MASS moving to the strobe light, making him look like he was in slow motion, blinkin all the way as he stood..those poor little kids took off so fast one of them dropped their bag on the way to the car, and the mom was too scared to get out and get it so they just drove off...We flagged them down on their way back and gave them their bag...with extra doggie treats...lol...you just had to have been there..can yu imagine what he looked like to a little tyke.....

ok i got a quick one that ya might find funny enough to try to see if it works. do ya'll remember back a few years ago when there was this song called "can i get a whoop-whoop?" ?

ok well so like me and my best friend misty and another friend went to this haunted house thingy called "Bloody Acres" near calhoun,la. so there was this long line waitin to get in and some guy a few people behind us kept sayin "can i get a WHOOP WHOOP" like really loud well it was kinda annoyin but he ended stoppin as th line got close to where we all enter. I think they had us go in in groups of 20 or so.

So we walk through these trails and people get separated th scary stuff starts ok fast forward to where like all th people in th group end up in this building going through this really dark maze, nobody can see noone but we can hear all th scary attempts by th people working there and th creepy stuff as we felt our way through th maze. Anyway totally out of nowhere that guy let's out a "Can I get a...." and before he finishes ya hear this really old lady's voice say "Whoop Whoop"😡!!

lol it was so funny so from then on he said it th next few minutes in th haunted place and everyone chanted it back to him. It made th experience funny and memorable and ended on a fun note.

It was just perfect how while all these random strangers were in line earlier he was singing it THEN by th time a big group of strange people were near th end of th haunted trail and house he did it after bein quiet for so long and of all people some old lady who you know never heard th song before that night finished th line for him. Thats one of my fun halloween stories. hope ya liked it.
