Europeans seem convinced that the online gambling laws are on the verge of changing with the US, and they have been gearing up for the legalization of online gambling within the US. UC Group, a UK-based payment processing company, has created a US subsidiary that is preparing to process online gambling transactions in the US, once the new legislation has been passed.
SecureTrading is the US subsidiary of the UC Group that will process US gambling transaction. They do not see any problems or delays with processing gambling transactions once the UIGEA is overturned. “Momentum for regulated Internet gambling in the US has been building for some time,” said Chris Thom, former Chief Operating Officer at MasterCard, “As Congress prepares to take the final step, SecureTrading’s turnkey system is primed to enable our customers to go live the moment Internet gambling is regulated.”
