The Poker Players Alliance has stated it has over 16,000 members in Kentucky, and poker enthusiasts have sent thousands of letters of complaint to Beshear. If gamblers succeed in boycotting, bringing down state revenue from gambling by even percentage points, Beshear might be forced to reconsider his direction...........

Original reports suggested that Microgaming simply planned to block residents of Kentucky but that the challenge of blocking one state within a country proved technically difficult. 😄

The congress should look to regulate Internet gambling in order to protect consumers and collect billions of dollars that are being lost to offshore Internet gambling operators.
