The latest Research and Markets study of the German market predicts that it will grow from the current Euro 2.2 billion a year to approaching Euro 5 billion a year by 2010.

was hoping that internet poker would be banned in germany/russia etc. sometime soon

It is banned in Russia...They banned Internet gambling, but Poker was not banned because it was classified as a sport in Russia. When they realized it was still legal, the Kremlin simply re-classified it as NOT a sport, and added it to the ban on internet gambling...

It is banned in Russia...They banned Internet gambling, but Poker was not banned because it was classified as a sport in Russia. When they realized it was still legal, the Kremlin simply re-classified it as NOT a sport, and added it to the ban on internet gambling...

So why am seeing so many Russians?? Fulltilt is bulging at the seams with them. I see one or two at every table it seems.
