Glitch causes the world's most popular search engine to classify all web pages as dangerous!! Google placed the internet on a blacklist after a mistake caused every site in the search engine's result pages to be marked as potentially harmful and dangerous.

The problem affected internet pages across the whole planet, and lasted for around 55 minutes before engineeers were able to fix it.

I have to say Goggle isn't going anywhere. Having a good friend who works for google and hearing inside stories. They will be around for a long time. The internet is just going to get busier and busier. There are bound to be problems. I would be more worried if something never went wrong.

Google has bought and continues to buy more and more and improvements will always come. Just look at Microsoft. It's one of the biggest pieces of crap around and is still going strong.

Maybe not forever but Google continues to gain market share and widen its lead against other search engines.

I feel Google would continue to dominate search market for the next coming years and really it would be a big challenge for Microsoft to defeat Google in internet space.

If you are a developer you have the ability to create change, start a new search engine, get it up and running and watch it blossom....... Google is a cash cow and at some point will not be able to protect itself from the onslot of hackers trying to bring it down!
