The US Treasury Department is expected to delay implementation of regulations that would require banks to stop online poker and other gambling transactions via credit cards.

A hearing on this matter is slated for December 3. Barney Frank's office was expected to release a statement shortly.

i actually did a couple withdrawals in advance of the dec 1st deadline but i'm so happy its being delayed. Not a fan of barney frank but i totally support him on this issue. YAY for poker!

I think we still have to worry after seeing the news regarding Dubai Default. This could actually speed things along.
