People from the United States have been gambling online now for the past year and a half with no problems since the arisal of the UIGEA. Many believe it's only a matter of time before the United States sees what hole they dug for themselves with the passage of the UIGEA and do all they can to crawl out.!!

There is Hope
The financial and international communities are hopeful that UIGEA will soon be a thing of the past.

Congressional hearings, and talks in general, are a positive sign toward some sort of agreement, at the very least.

Jerrold Nadler has joined the fight for Online Gambling when he became the 48th co-sponsor of the Internet Gambling, Regulation, and Enforcement Act (Bill H.R. 2046, aka the IGREA), which has been proposed by House Financial Services Committee Chairman, Rep. Barney Frank.
