The Kentucky Court of Appeals has ruled that the commonwealth cannot seize the domain names of nearly 140 online gambling and poker sites in a decision handed down on Tuesday. The case, which has been going through the court system since last year, hinged on Kentucky arguing that internet gambling sites were doing business in the commonwealth illegally. The court ruled that the domain names were not a “gambling device” and therefore there were no grounds to seize them. 😁
