Kentucky Court of Appeals, has prohibited the Franklin County Circuit Court from enforcing its order to seize 141 domain names of Internet gambling operators.

This should be the end of this situation, although Kentucky Governor Beshear may continue to appeal or take other action if he is unwilling to accept this judgment. Still, an important victory has been won on behalf of the online gaming industry today.

The budget in Kentucky has been reaching critical levels, and state legislators are beginning to seek new ways to make up for the budget's losses, which include forms of gambling both land based and Online Gambling. With the possibility of layoffs on the horizon, a state that has been one of the most opposed to gambling may soon see revamped gambling laws that would allow video slot machines in the state. :thumbsup

That is a good step considering they were tryin to ban forms of online gambling not too long ago. That might help a little somewhat back in the US with the reversal of the UIGEA bullcrap that they passed back in 06'.
