Marriage & Poker...yuck

I was playing on a 1.00/2.00 table on Carbon Poker. I get a call from the my secretary saying she needs me to go by the office real quick to sign some DOT papers. Sure, I get off the table but didn't "x" out of Carbon Poker...wrong move. I go to the office, come back 20 minutes later and my wife is sitting there on the couch with the computer in her lap looking sad, she won't even look at me. I thought something was wrong, like bad news from her family or something. So I ask her what is wrong, she says "I was trying to help you make money". I automatically knew what she was talking about. I grab the computer and look at my bankroll...what bankroll. It was sitting at $0.00. I looked at her and said what happened to the money I had? She says, I lost to pocket A's, with pocket K's.
I was furious, she looks at me and says to me, "you need to support me in these times of depression". Are you kidding? She says, "We are married, what is yours is mine". She hands me the computer and says "you can get it back".
Without saying a word I shut the computer and sat there in complete shock at her.

Lesson learned, never leave your poker account open for even a minute with your spouse around. They see you win money and they figure they can do the same.:mad:πŸ˜”

better off just depositing who knows how long it will take to make final tableWell I gave her a ultimadium, she has 1 week to win 20.00 or she has to replace the 210.00 from her bank account. I can build it back up from 20.00. We'll how she does

What a story!!

Did she lose $210 on one hand alone the KK one or ?

I know it doesnt matter now but dont give her access to your poker account!

It takes one mind to earn the money and another to lose it all

On a serious note - it does prove then necessity not too leave poker rooms etc open on your computer.

I've read a lot of stories some a lot more money involved where room mates / flat mates etc. have lost $$$$$$ from peoples accounts.

live and learn!

p.s. is this considered legal grounds for divorce 😁😁😁

LOL.. very funny... well at least she is trying and understands your addiction or hobby with poker... I once was at a casino and wife came storming in all upset and everything... offcourse i had to cash out and leave... what was funny was that I gave her some of my winning and we went shopping and that made everything allright...

Hi, I think Carbon Poker support operatives are really understanding and you should have some chance of convincing them to refund some of the money lost in bonus, coupon codes or even cash. Of course, you would have to convince them:
1. that it was actually your wife playing
2. that they share some of the blame by not having a proper anti-wife protection:1orglaugh

I hope this works
