WrestleMania continues to be one of the most highly anticipated Pay-Per-View events on the market and Sunday’s edition at Sun Life Stadium in Miami should be no exception as all the WWE’s big guns will be on their biggest card of the year. The highlight of the night will be the resolution of the short but bitter feud John Cena and The Rock.

The Rock started as a football player for the University of Miami, made his name in pro wrestling before leaving the WWE to do movies but he returned on Valentine’s Day 2011 and started to antagonize John Cena, who has since become the major star in the promotion. The two have since gone back and forth in various promos (in which Cena has gotten the better of The Rock, who may have the best promos in WWE history), along with a few encounters in the ring. Finally, after last year’s WrestleMania in which The Rock cost Cena the WWE championship against The Miz, Cena challenged The Rock to a match at this year’s WrestleMania.
Odds To Win At Wrestlemania XXVIII
John Cena -280
The Rock +220
Currently, Cena is a -280 favorite against The Rock at +220. This feud has inspired Cena, who was losing favor among some hardcore wrestling fans, but he has not only held his own in the battle of the microphone with The Rock, but most would say he has the edge heading into WrestleMania. Still, The Rock played for the Hurricanes football team and is still one of the most popular wrestlers of all time, so the WWE can go at this either way. Does The Rock lose in his “hometown” or do they ride the wave of momentum that Cena has and continue to build up their star? We’ll find out this weekend.
