Ron Paul For President Of US

Representative Ron Paul has been a longtime supporter of a regulated online gambling industry in the US. This weekend, Paul made himself the betting favorite to become the next candidate for President within the Republican party.

There has been a strong movement towards online gambling regulation not only from members of Congress, but also financial institutions and the public. Financial institutions have been saddled with the burden of stopping online gambling transactions, and they claim that this is too heavy a load at a time when the financial markets have crumbled in the US.

While I appreciate Ron's position on online gambling, I do not believe he would be a good president overall. I'd never vote for him.

If Ron's ideas could make it to the White House with him, I'd almost consider voting Republican just the one time. Too bad that it never seems to end up that way though.

I think that Ron Paul making himself a favorite in the next election for the Republican Candidacy may be far fetched. But hey If he thinks he can may be he can. Anything or anyone that is good for Online Poker is a good thing and you never know maybe he's the one to make it happen.
