What changed your game?

I've been doing some reading and watching videos as of late in order to improve my game play on the tables. This usually has mixed results because I tend to play micro stakes and free rolls. If you've been playing for very long, you know that the small stakes stuff is a lot different than playing mid to high stakes poker. There are a lot of people that will play crap hands and bet them all the way to the river in the micros and freerolls. Not to mention the prevalence of the preflop all in push with the aforementioned hands.

So, I was wondering what you may have read or what video series improved your game at the different levels of play on the tables. If there is something specific for the micro tables, keep that separate from what you learned for the other bigger stakes games.

Looking forward to your replies.

Nothing has changed my game or made me a better player atleast for the last year.

What has changed though is the way im choosing games.

Im not playing cash games any longer. Cool Uh ?

Too much bad beats, craziness, unlogic, chaos in cash games.

If anything has changed my game that is!

I cant help you improving your cash game because I avoid those.

Being focused though can be used in all sort of games. Dont read a good poker article if you cant take it in you. Understand what I mean ?

There's many poker articles, tips and strategies online, but to take it in, you need to practice along with reading. Been reading alot myself but while being unfocused trying to transfer the reading to the poker table just doesn't work.

Not sure if some of this might help you

Advanced game selection - Poker strategy on advanced game selection.
Game selection - Choosing the right poker game is important.
Poker ecosystems - Predators and preys abound in online poker rooms.

What has changed my game the most is reading about poker, either articles or books; then comparing the new idea's to what I've been doing ....adjusting where needed or if needed.
