When and when not to be aggressive will always be determined more by your opponents than anything else...the key is to really make mental notes, or even written ones if it helps you, of hand types they're playing and how they're playing them. If you can pick up whether someone limps in with a-9 off or bets big on just about anything you can pick up enough info to adjust your play accordingly. After all, sometimes you've got to bet that flush draw when it comes down with 3 spades on the flop just to figure out if anyone else has it, even if you're only holding red 7-2's...with practice you'll wind up finding the right mix for your true style of play
