In order to provide their players with the best possible online poker playing experience, Celeb Poker have introduced a new and improved Guaranteed Tournament structure. A staggering €250,000 Guaranteed Tournament has already been directly added to the schedule; to be held on Sunday December 16th at 20:00 GMT (20:00 BST, 22:00 CET). This event is open to all players with regular satellites from €2 + €0.2 to €32 + €3 running over the next 8 weeks or a direct buy-in for the final of €300 + €20.

The big, guaranteed cash money prizes are set to continue. CelebPoker players can now choose from mammoth weekly €100,000 (every Sunday), €25,000 BMW (every Wednesday) and €10,000 High Roller (also on Sundays) Guaranteed Tournaments or participate in the more frequent €7,500 €4,500 €4,000 €3,000 €2,000 €1,500 €1,000 competitions.

The stakes will be higher than ever in the upcoming episodes of High Stakes Poker. "It's going to be a war," says poker legend Doyle Brunson.

The minimum buy-in for High Stakes Poker will go from $100,000 to $500,000, starting with the episode airing Nov. 5.

Doyle Brunson will be one of the participants, and even though "the Godfather of Poker" has been involved in the poker world for decades, and played in the highest and toughest games available, he is prepared for something special.

Reuben Peters from Colorado, USA, won the PokerStars-com European Poker Tour Dublin title and more than EUR 500,000 after beating Annette Obrestad - from Norway. Peters successfully overturned a massive chip lead against Obrestad, 19, who won GBP 1 million at the World Series of Poker Europe in September.

A 19-year-old university student and part-time supermarket shelf-stacker has won $96,000 at a poker tournament in Adelaide. And he’s only been playing the poker game seriously for five months.

Daniel Booth won the inaugural Adelaide Holdem Championship at the Skycity Casino over the weekend which featured Australian poker star Joseph Hachem. The poker tournament carried a total prize pool of more than $340,000 and included poker players from around Australia and overseas.
