Poker Host - which currently makes its home on the Microgaming Network, may soon depart for one that accepts players from the United States. The revelation came from *John* at Poker Host’s Customer Service Department. The move follows a similar one made by Doyle’s Room, which left the Microgaming Network for the Cake Poker Network last month.

British pop star Robbie Williams, who has been on a musical hiatus, is getting into poker. Williams is getting more passionate about poker but he is going for less glamorous locations like Swindon. He is also frequenting a club near his mansion in Wiltshire.

(He’s getting a reputation as a serious adversary around the poker tables)

Manne wrote: Mac poker players - Your options at the tables have gotten a little bit broader. Recently, online poker room Bodog launched an Instant Play option that allows users to play on its software in a web browser. However, the new feature is limited to one table, making multi-tabling impossible for the foreseeable future.

(The Instant Play software opens in a matter of seconds and takes users to a replica of the main cash game lobby found on Bodog).

Manne wrote: Pai Gow Poker and Three-Card Poker are the most popular poker-themed casino games. It's a no-brainer which game is better if you know anything about the two games. Pai Gow Poker is the better game because you can act as the bank, and lower the house edge against you. In Three-Card Poker the house edge can be as high as 2.5%, if you play to optimum Q-6-4 strategy.

The edge in Pai Gow Poker will change based on the amount bet when you're the player and the amount bet when you bank action. Your skill level at setting hands will also affect the odds the house will have against you. Pai Gow has more strategy involved than Three-Card Poker, and is more challenging and fun to play. And banking hands in Pai Gow Poker can produce a faster profit in a short amount of time when you win them.

You can play Pai Gow Poker at: Bodog Casino

If you're looking for a slower-game than Craps or Blackjack and want to spend a lot of time gambling without losing an outrageous amount of money, play Pai Gow Poker. It's fun!!

Cake Poker are going mobile. The relatively new poker room are launching a facility for windows based mobile devices to play poker for real money.

How sophisticated the games and technology remains to be seen, but this is certainly a sector that has huge growth potential and will be very interesting to monitor over the next few years.

Everyone loves brackets, hence the popularity of the NCAA March Madness, and the visceral head-to-head combat where the underdog can pull out a win against the overwhelming favorite. Well, NBC is bringing that same feeling to the poker world, and Bodog is giving poker and gaming enthusiasts alike a chance to get in on the action with their NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship prop bet.

Featuring 64 of the best heads-up poker players in the world, the NHUPC takes place at Caesar's Palace this weekend - March 7-8 - and will pay out $500,000 to the winner. Bodog oddsmakers have been busy with their calculators and complex algorithms coming up with lines for the participants and they are now up and available in the Bodog Sportsbook.

It seems even the very conservative leaning Fox news is coming around to the benefits of legalizing online poker. Miraculously, not one of the hosts becomes hostile about the possibility of legalized online poker.

He also got in what seemed to be a little shot at some of the members of Congress who are opposed to all forms of Internet gambling and their regulation.
