Hey Buzz, you're are definitely not alone in this regard. I ALWAYS have problems with Bodog's software; lagging, freezing, turning on auto-fold. Annoys the bejeezus out of me. All I can suggest is either get a PC with massive resources in terms of CPU and memory or don't run ANYTHING else when you're running Bodog. . .

Definitely not alone, i have lost a few $ because of this, i too like the site, and would play more on it, if connection or software was smoother

It seems Bodog and Carbon Poker are computer resource hogs.

Same here. Never have a problem unless Im running another ap at the same time. The worst is when you are running a different poker ap at the same time.

I've never had anywhere near the same kinds of problems -- or even close to the same extent -- at Carbon as I do with Bodog. Different magnatudes of irritation completely. . .

Same here was in tourney and the site froze up and locked. I had to go through task manager and end service and then reboot bodog twice.

There's a button in Options called "Animation", uncheck it and it might help your resource issues.

I once, contacted Bodog
toldem their recent updates (back then)
started freezing up the games
their reply was
a basic computer maintenance procedure
that I do weekly
(sometimes real weakly)

IDK, I gues they just want you to upgrade
or getta new computer
w/ a bigger processsor & memory & video

but, I can go elsewhere w/o those problems

I ran Task Manager today, and found out Full Tilts Poker program uses the most memory(at over 90M😎. Poker Stars uses the least memory(around 21M😎. This having the main client window open, without any tables.

Bodog uses around 85 MB.

There's no doubt that Bodog has some issues to work out, I play on there daily and it can be frustrating. I can let the frustration go most of the time, but it can be a little much to take when you're in a big hand and it's lagging and your auto-fold option is turned on and you lose your chips, so I feel ya there. My suggestion is to contact Bodog, maybe if enough people complain they will get the problem worked out for us all. Wishing you all the best in your gaming😡

I haven't had any problems that I can remember.
Maybe. I don't play enough there.
I use the standard set ups.
I don't play multiple games, at the same time.

The only major problem I have is: the
red, red, red, and more red, red......lol

I have the same problems. If I keep the tourny lobby closed I don't have the problems. If you want to know the remaining players go to the main lobby, for some reason the main lobby does not freeze up my computer.

It's mostly becuase of how bad BODOG messes with the software draws.
Be glad you can see the obvious clues....it's easier when you press charges.

Be glad you can see the problems---it's clear evidence on how they gimmick their software.
