I was playing a tournament the other day. It was getting late and I was beginning to get short stacked. I was dealt A K, went allin. I got 1 caller. As I was waiting for the hands to turn over, I realized what online poker has done to me. I was actually hoping for a pair instead of A Q, or a lower A. I swear A K beats a pair more than it does A Q. Of course my opponent had A Q, Q on the flop, I was done. I'm going to try and keep track of my A K hands and see how many times they win against a pair and how many times they win when they dominate another hand. Maybe its my imagination, but seems like A K loses a lot against a weaker Ace.

Lots of fortunes have been won and lost with the big slick😡 Its always a slippery slope. Always.

It's all a matter of perception. I doubled up against AK with pocket pairs a half dozen times in a tourney yesterday. 3 of those times against the same guy who swore he was done playing AK.

Not has bad as losing AA four times to very weak hands. 65, 92. Sucks. No faith in pocket rockets.

I don't know about that but i swear bad beats happen so much more online han in real life. Its almost rediculous, thats why i rarely go all in preflop, its just not worth it.

Bad beats happen its part of the game check the attachment out i was on the good side of a bad beat lol.

With 7 cards involved you never know the results till the last card is out.big slick can burn you asfast as little slick. it is a dominating hand but any pair can take it.2 cards are never as good as 7 to play with. maybe in 5 card draw but not hold em
