I have been putting off signing up to BODOG cause i keep hearing that the network is good but the poker client is garbage ..plus they just let us Canucks in the door..GO CANADA ...So im wondering with soo many new poker sites around today if Bodog is really worth it?
So if Pokerstars is #1 & Full Tilt is #2 ..where would BODOG come in @ ??
Is there a website or something that ranks & rates poker sites??

thanks

Some of what makes picking a poker room and whether it's "worth it" or not is subjective. . .

If you're talking raw player numbers, right now Bodog is reporting 2.5K players seated at tables @ ~19:00 ET. The 21:40 $500 freeroll will pull somewhere around 4K players give or take 500. So, in terms of average active accounts Bodog is probably down the list a bit. But, I don't find the play there anywhere near as frustrating -- in regards to the players -- as I find it at the "Big 2". Yeah, the same river miracles and all that still happen, but play seems to be less donkish for the most part, at least to me, or maybe I just haven't been getting kicked by them as much as I do at PS or FTP. . .

On the other hand, UltimateBet/AbsolutePoker is almost certainly top 5 in # of players, but the play so maniacally aggressive there, as I remember it, it didn't suit my preferred style of play and did not enjoy being there at all. So I haven't played my UB account for months now. [The only one worse than UB as far as I've experienced is RedStarPoker. Nothing but crazy Ivans & Ivanas there. . .]

So, sometimes it's not the raw numbers of players, but finding the poker room that works best for you whether that's one of the "Big 2" or someplace on one of the other networks. Find the poker room that fits you, or that you can adapt to. . .
