I havn't had the time to look into this new feature on FTP either, been VERY busy with my business lately, only had time to play normal games 😔

If any members here at Ixgames can post a review of this new feature that would be AWESOME

I heard and read about it but havent tried it out yet. Seems it's a fast game. When you fold or the hand ends you are instantly moved to another hand with new players. So all players in the rush poker lobby gets shuffled around in this pool of players.

1) Play tough pre-flop
2) Make notes of players. So when you have them at the same table again you might know more about their playing style. Majority of players tend to fold pre-flop or just auto-fold.
3) The only variety existing is no limit holdem rush poker.

I can imagine weak players getting crushed more than ever before.

I watched the Phil Gordon video on it and it looks stupid. He played like 6 hands and he was in the blind 4 of them. When you fold you are instantly moved to the next available seat. that seat could be the BB 3 hands in a row haha. I guess if you have the bankroll to blind off id say go for it:p

Oh and BTW, if the software can run that fast for rush poker, why the hell does it still take 15mins to get seated for big tourneys:mad: they have areas that need to be worked on

It looks very funny and is quick at the same time. The countdown makes it interesting and rush poker is a quick way to make some money. I had a bad beat early on, but I was able to double up.
It poses some problems for “multi-tablers” as in rush poker some strategic adjustments are required to achieve a good rate.

I think Rush Poker is a very fast exciting game just from what I have experienced.. which isn't much... I played it with play money first, then decided to give it a shot and started with $10 in the $.05/$.10 table.

I found it to be very doable. As for a previous posters opinion that you could be blinded out, well... I played it, and didn't find that to be the case at all. True, you are randomly placed at tables very quickly as soon as you fold, or win or lose a hand.. zap... you are at another table and dealt cards. You could be in any position at any table as soon as you hit the fold... you are at another table and dealt 2 more cards faster than you might imagine. You don't have to wait on the hand to be played out... if you don't like the cards you are dealt... simply hit the quick fold button and zooom.. your at another table and dealt cards immediately!

No waiting at all... fold bad cards until you get to a table that you are dealt cards you like.. then play the hand out until either you fold, lose or win the hand then your at another table, dealt 2 more cards. If your in a hand with cards you like..but say.. someone raises big... and you decide to fold...click the quick fold and zip .. your at another table dealt 2 more cards and so on. You will literally be playing hundreds of hands an hour. I played the play money first for about an hour. I highly recommend anyone trying Rush Poker out to do the play money option first to get the hang of it and develope a strategy to guide you. You can pick and choose which 2 cards you want to play... then play them out. No waiting for it to come around to you if you want to fold ... do it and go to the next table and hand.

I played the real money tables and entered with $10. Went up and down a little for a while and got AA on a hand. Got pushed hard pre-flop, reraised and got called. Flop was not much, I raised and got reraised, so I pushed in.. got called and won a nice pot. I carried that new total for a while and stretched it out a bit more for a $5.09 profit when I decided to jump out of the game. I easily played over a hundred hands and only played for 20 to 25 minutes. I saw not evidence that I was placed at the blinds any more often on average than I would have been playing a normal ring game.

My advice to anyone wanting to give Rush Poker a shot... jump in the play money first.. then go ahead a give it a try. It is actually no different than playing a regular ring game.. with the exception of not having to wait until the hand is played out before you fold and play another hand. Want to fold... just hit the quick fold option and get into another hand at a different table. One thing to keep in mind, I would think, is that when you do decide to play a hand, there may very well be players sitting on good cards also.. after all.. they had the option to fold also and were sent to another table...now not every player that will be in a hand with you came from a table that they used the quick fold option. Many of them.. maybe even all of them, came from a hand that they played out, so something to consider when playing the cards in a hand that you decided on.

Give it a try... play money first.... if you like it .. why not try it... it's a ring game .. you can always pull out if you decide to. Good luck at Rush Poker on Tilt!

Another ploy to get more rake that's what it is. They should consider improving their card dealing so the pre-flop underdog doesn't catch up 90% of the time. I recently heard of realdealpoker.com and it is exactly what FTP should have been investing their time and money in instead of Rush Rake Poker. They aren't going to be US friendly right off but maybe eventually. Check it out and you'll see that they will offer two things that FTP or any other room I'm currently aware of does not. First is the button/dealer cut of the deck. Second is they won't be using RNGs but instead will employ real card sequences that can be traced back and even later audited. The biggest thing for me, though, is that they will burn cards just like a real casino.

Here is my update regarding rush poker.
100nl was interesting and this whole game (rush poker) is addictive for sure. My friends also like Rush poker and according to one “This is by far the dumbest form of poker I have ever seen”.
It'll be interesting to see how it continues to evolve in the first 5-6 weeks, especially if they eventually introduce it at 200NL.
