What's best way to build bankroll?

I don't have enough experience to decide in the long run, which is the best way to build a bankroll consistently, MTT's, Sit-n-go's, or cash games. Or are they all equally up and down? I'm trying to get build from scratch, no dep., so usually start with minimal winnings from FR's. MTT's seems like you need a bigger BR to withstand losing streaks. I've had success with sit-n-go's but can go through losing streaks with those also. I haven't played cash games too much, but would think it could be more consistent. Is this true or do you still have lots of swings here too? I've been playing the double or nothing sit-n-go's, trying to get to at least a 2 digit BR.

Most sites have double up sngs which are very easy to beat. your not going to make a great profit but it will be the easiest way to grind your bankroll up.

After you double up just hang back and dont get involved in any high pot hands.

I've tried to lay DoN's very tight, but it seems that everyone is playing that way now. Seems you might lose 1 or 2 players early, but by the time the blinds get to 100/50, most of us have less than 10 blinds and you start to get players shoving preflop or everyone folding. So you have to take some chances occasionally to keep from gettin blinded out. I used to have a lot more success with these but lately seem to be just breakin even. I'll keep tryin though.

Start out with ixgames freerolls, then money added games, then play small buyins following Fergusions bankroll management rules.

It depends in what you like more and with what game you are more confortable playing, some people like more ring games, others MTTs or Sit&Go´s., if you mention that you like more Mtts and Sits and have little experience in ring games then stick to Mtts and Sits, Rings are best way to grow faster your BR but also is easy to lose all faster.

If you play in Bodog then try the beginers sit & Go there, it pays top 5 from 10 players but are not 2ble ups, the min buyin is $2, but pays are like this: 5=$2, 4=$3, 3=$4, 2=$5, 1=$6

Also try free private games, low buyin private games like poker 3 mention.

Hands down the best way to build a bankroll is bankroll management

Bankroll management is the only way to build
but if you are not depositing then losing it all is a disaster

Under these circumstances I would not recommend playing 10% on a SnG, the potential swings are just too great.
I would recommend that you have 40 buy-ins or 2.5% which is 25c if you have $10. It will take time but you will be able to cope with downswings and you won't go broke. This is the most important thing. If you have been trying for a while you will know this. Don't go broke!
Check your br weekly or monthly and play for increases however small.

In order to execute bankroll management you first have to have a bankroll. Starting out from scratch you will have to take some risks with a microbankroll. The double up tourneys are a good investment. They will pay out 50% of the field and thats what your looking for: high percentage low risk. Play your strongest game, don't "try your luck" at something your not experienced at. After you get a few cashes and your micro BR gets to be a mini BR you can start excersizing more restraint, go to smaller buy ins with bigger payoffs but still paying high percentage of the field: say S-N-G's paying 20-30 percent of the field. If you good heads up, shoot a couple of those in there. Then after you get a little more you can afford to take multiple stabs at low buy-in MTT's with good payoff potential.

Once you get a decent roll,you may want to play ring games.Try to avoid the cheaper games.,too many people will call you down and bluff alot.I like to sit at a table that requires at least $20 to sit in.They are alot tighter and alot less donkyness.I like to hit n run,its a great way to make some bucks.I usually play badbeat jackpot tables,so you just might hit the jackpot while playing.

27-30 sit&gos are also great for increase BR, be very patience and follow BR management all the time, they pay top 5 and top6.
