Ok, then after you hit your pair of jacks with a 2 kicker on the flop, do you call a pot size bet and then call a bet that puts you all in ππ
4 cents, 4 dollars, 4 hundred dollars it was double the BB and you still have J 2 off and will take a miracle to win :dirol
Don't ruffle your feathers! Was just saying your initial raise was weak enough that you were just begging for anyone to call with any two cards. The donk with the J/2 off got lucky but probably would not have been in the hand if your opener was stronger. Your hand wasn't real strong post flop either. You had top/top which was good- but hardly the nuts. Yor post indicated you were on a really loose table which means your going to have to play tight/gaurded. So you know these guys are going to chase. I personnally don't like this kind of action cause you run into just that kind of beat on those tables. I will usually move on when I encounter this and look for a tighter table.
It was a bad beat. It sucks. It will happen again. Its poker. What a great game. Imagine how exceedingly boring it would be if the best hand won every time.
Keep plugging away and I hope you clean the donk out next time you encounter him.:thumbsup
