AP /UB MERGE? WHy did they do it?

At the end of the day, they are making much more doing it like this right? Its not as strong as the Cake NEtwork in my opinion.

Its all about survival. Both needed to fill seats in order to be profitable and this virtually doubled the number of players in each event and the cash tables. It's the Rake that keeps them afloat, and the more players, the more rake.

Being owned by the same company they have no reason to keep 2 servers open. Plus AP isnt all that popular i dont think

I don't know if it doubled the players. I have an account at both sites but I am still one seat, not two. When did this merge happen? I thought they were already a joined network as I could not ever be at both sites at the same time. Just made my first deposit at UB. I think UB is not as popular as AP for sure.
