It seems over the last few months we have seen a HUGE increase in Eastern European and Former Soviet state players at full tilt. From what I understand this is due to targeted marketing in these former Soviet countries and recent success of russian players in the pro poker media. These new players give us new challenges as there style of play is very aggressive from what I experienced. They can almost never be bluffed as they tend to be callers no matter how many outs they may have. They get even a wiff of the flop and they will clobber you with huge raises. It has been frustrating but I am beginning to look at Country of origin of every player at my table before getting involved in any pots. Are other poker rooms experiencing the same thing I wonder😟 Any thoughts on this??

Sorry, tallseas, this isn't exactly news to me. They can be pretty numerous on PokerStars as well. They're going where the money is.

Have not noticed them anywhere near as "in mass" on most other rooms I play on other than RedStarPoker, but that one's directed towards Russia anyway.

And yes, they are ultra aggressive bettors and will chase anything they might have a shot at catching. On the plus side, they also tend to be calling stations, so you can take advantage of them that way if you can deal with their aggressiveness. . .

Poker bonuses such as this are a rarity. The rapidly earned points can be used to buy in to tournaments, redeemed for prizes, or even be traded for cash in some rare instances. The more points you accumulate, the better the poker room will treat you - a fair exchange for playing a game.

Just noticed that the upcoming 1K Full Tilt Weekly Freeroll is now a Turbo tourney, so at least the 20K players will be weeded out more readily.

I was doing research on the santa accolade freeroll and most members contacted support and there should be info on it soon in the news. Depositers in December who signed up for Santa tasks will be eligible. But funny how they call it santa accolade when its going to be after the new year.:1orglaugh

Last night when I was in the pokerspace tourney there was a user who would run the clock every hand LITTLEDAVID would not answer you and would go all in constantly with pockets would not be sat out if ran clock. Cant these poker places catch these cheaters😑 Everyone at table agreed that was a bot. But an actual user using a bot as an aid to stay in the game. Luckily a player outsmarted the bot right before paying positions.

But what i hate are the players who make bad pushes and even worse calls and think that when they do get lucky and hit the river that they are the best players out there. you dont have to apologize, but be humble and accept that you got lucky and let it go

Football fans rejoice you can still cheer on the teams at the Super Bowl XLIV as long as you can play a mean game of poker. The Cereus Poker Network sites Absolute Poker and UB are going to be sending a few poker players to Miami, Florida for the Super Bowl.

Thanks for the information. Any reason about this whatsoever about its cancellation?

I've collected some academy points on full tilt and i'm wondering if the 100$ bonus ( 20 000 points) is a deposit bonus or a just a 100$ for free. They haven't put any details on the website. Does anybody know?
