Cashout Games

To say the least... wow... Full Tilt needs more of these games around.

Here's how it works for the $2.25 buy-in (13:45 EST and 09:00 EST). One dollar goes to the prize pool and one dollar goes to the cashout pool... 150 chips equals .10 cents... so 1500 chips (your starting stack) equals $1.00...

I played in an afternoon game the other day and rake in over 16k in chips... I gradually cashed out along the way... so I got my buy of $2.25 back for trading in 3250 chips... and I proceeded to win more and more... I ended up cashing out a total of $10.16 in chips and then finished ITM for another $2.50... so a total of $12.66...

I must say these tournies are very safe and effect for bankroll management and full tilt needs more of these games... You can find them by locating the Green C by the tournyment game...

They only run 5 of these games a day... others being higher stakes $10, $20 dollars... But these tournies are awesome...

Well at least tilt is pickin up on something right.

I like the sound of this, can you confirm if i am reading you right.. (if you know what i mean!), am i right in thinking if you get a big stack, gradually cash in....build again....cash in again...until you reach the money?

😄 assuming you can get to this stage.

Yes you are reading the post correctly... 😄

You can cashout partial amounts of your chips so you can cover your buy in cost and then work your way up some more (if you do well in the tourney of course) and gradually keep on cashing in partial amounts...

For example in the $2.25 games I cash out 3000 chips at a time to get $2 dollars at a time...

I continue this till I'm ITM then go balls to the wall with a shortstack and since im ITM anyway... who cares 😄

Definitely worth a try mate,

This is pretty much what you see when people "bank" at the ring games. It's interesting that they would incorporate this into a tournament. It definitely changes things and it may be worth checking out for people that are good at building a stack early. I might just put a little money in at FT to check this out.

Wow, I hadn't come across these yet. They sound REALLY cool. Gonna have to check them out. Looks like only a couple a day at each buy-in level huh? Any idea about how many play in these?

These are also nice for someone who doesn't have 3 hours to kill but believes they can build a stack. Once you cash out your buy-in everything else is gravy. The first one I played I had to leave before it was over. Was ITM so I had that plus the value of my chips. From the money cut off I would have had to move up to top 7 before busting out to win what i cashed out for. So there is some different strategy involved once you have a good stack whether to cash out or go for it.

One other thing once you hit the final table you can not cashout but the remaning cashout money is added to the regular prize pool.
